This was the most amazing weekend retreat I have ever attended. Worth 10 years of therapy! My entire outlook is changed and I have a completely new understanding of mindfulness and consciousness. So grateful.

My partner and I, along with my youngest daughter, participated in a 4 day retreat with Matthew recently. Being in sacred space with my daughter brought tears to my eyes many times over those several days. Watching my daughter interface with Matthew was extraordinary. Matthew is a multi-dimensional being who is just at ease conversing with a 23 year old as he is holding space for a well-seasoned CEO with multiple notches on the belt and trophies to boast. I have not met a more talented and diverse guide as Matthew. On this path I have discovered that the information and guidance I receive from another is only as good as the purity of the life they are living. I know no equal to Matthew in this regard. He walks the walk and talks the talk. He practices what he shares and is the living embodiment of those qualities that the Buddha holds most precious. It is my honor and privilege to be able to share these brief thoughts about my own journey and the incredible influence Matthew has had as my guide and brother.

The is the most intimate experience of being with myself I have ever had. It feels like flying and landing at the same time.

I began working with Matthew to work on my addiction to prescription medications. I have done this for over a month now, with herbal and nutritional support, and a few sessions per week, learning breathwork, deepening my spiritual practice, and healing on so many levels. I am no longer addicted to the prescription drugs, don't miss them at all, and have taken control of my body and my life. I had no idea how many areas of my life this work would touch! I am growing and healing in more ways than I could have imagined.

My experience with Matthew was one of the most meaningful of my life. He spent time understanding me, and really tailoring the treatment to what I needed, and not what I thought I needed! He has chosen his “blend” of therapy from a deep understanding of western and eastern philosophies, as well as from a mix of the spiritual and scientific. Matthew really helped me understand the perspective shift that resulted, and encouraged me to stay deep within it, to really create the long term change that my heart has wanted for so long. It was truly an honor to meet Matthew, I feel my life has been leading to this moment.

I have worked with ayahuasca, medicinal mushrooms, and other medicines, with wonderful guides, but nothing compares to this recent weekend with Matthew. This is the culmination of everything I have ever done. Being a guide and facilitator for people as well, I am very conscious of the energy I bring into the space when I guide. Working with Matthew shows me what is possible. He is truly a divine masculine embodiment, a beautiful duality of human and divine, otherworldly and yet deeply grounded. The experience is so much more than just the medicine. We sat and held hands, placed prayers and intentions. He had beautiful, powerful questions that led us into the experience with no fear and complete trust. Each thing we did, from preparing the space, to each of the conversations and questions built into a crescendo that was more than I could have ever imagined. I honestly feel that I have rebirthed myself. For the first time in my life, I felt what pure consciousness feels like. I have a somatic, full body experience of that. The breathwork we did allows me to connect with this experience whenever I feel out of balance. I just return to the breath and connect with the state of consciousness and energy from the weekend. You can tell he has a deep relationship and reverence for the medicine he works with. Every time I experience him in a ceremonial setting, I have a deeper appreciation for how rare this is and how lucky I am. Matthew has made it possible for me to experience that the Universe is pure love, that it is all One, and it is all Love. Matthew is one of the purest embodiments of this love that I have ever met. He is really good at preparing people for whatever level of experience they are ready for. I am in awe.

I met Matthew in 2015 while working on a related business investment. Over the next 2.5 years I began working with Matthew doing breathing exercises and meditation. In the Fall of 2017 Matthew facilitated a medicine retreat for 6 men of which I was one. This was the first experience I ever had with psychedelics. The container that was created that evening was anchored by Matthew toning with a crystal bowl he was playing. During the two journeys I experienced that night and those of the others present, I was struck by the sacred space that was created and how safe I felt on my journey with the amazing tones that I was perceiving from beyond the veil that effortlessly seemed to roll out of Matthew’s throat as each of us went so incredibly deep. In early 2018 I again had the privilege of experiencing these same medicines at the same sacred place amongst the magnificent redwood trees of northern California. I was aware all my life that I was much more than a physical body having a human experience and after my first journey in 2017 I knew because of this experience that I had that there is a divine/infinite/unity/source consciousness, and that I AM this consciousness and it lives within me. I knew with all my being at that point that the same intelligence that governs the movement of the planets, stars, galaxies and universes is the same intelligence that lives within me that I am. This was truly a defining moment of my life that happened at age 53.

I feel my mind itself has found a new level of integrity. This was like a psychic surgery, where I have been put back together, found aspects of myself I didn't know I had lost, and love for myself and for existence that I didn't know was possible.

Matthew. You are a gift I never imagined knowing or existed. The depth of your spiritual guidance and participation in our journey, the entire experience, so unexpected and immeasurable.

I had quite a bit of fear going into my experience with Matthew. I had never done anything like this before and until recently, never thought that I would. But, the stars aligned, I was introduced to Matthew, and I had one of the most incredible experiences of my life. While it may sound cliché, I learned what it feels like to find oneself again… It truly was a magical journey home to myself.

The space that Matthew creates is remarkable. I felt safe and held in a way that I haven’t since I was a child in my mother’s arms. My self-doubt has been replaced with so much love for myself, for my life and the amazing people in it. I feel relief, calm and clarity. I really didn’t know that it was possible to regain this amount of trust in both myself and the miraculous world around me.

Yes, it was not easy work, but Matthew and his wonderful assistant guided me through, and all of the fear I was holding on to so tightly evaporated. I’m ready to flow through life with love, appreciation, and awe for the amazing intelligence of the universe.

Matthew may have just changed my life through his work. We spent 4 days in a small intimate group diving deep into worlds I candidly didn't know existed prior. We solved blocks, found answers, opened questions and saw life from a completely new view. I consider it a singular blessing to have had the opportunity to cross paths with Matthew. I can only hope it won't be our last. The amount of trust, thought, beauty and experience he brought was unrivaled. Matthew can I call you my guide?!
